SRVS is a Free Residential Kannada Medium school for hearing Impaired boys from economically backward section of the society.
SRVS® started in the year 1974 to provide quality education to Hearing Impaired children of our society .
Our school offers free boarding & education from 1st std to 10th std based on syllabus & Text prescribed by KSEEB (Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board).
Our school adopts latest software & smart class facilities to teach our children .
Academics
Lot of emphasis is laid on the character development of the students, this is in no way at the cost of academic excellence.Â
The school has been maintaining a 100% pass record with around 90% of them with first division, consistently year after year for two decades now.
The academic Year starts from 29th of may of a calendar year to the 31st of march / April 14th of the next year The school has the long break for summer (during April-may) and a short break for winter vacation.
Facilities
The school fostered a climate based on love discipline and learning . The building consists of classrooms from class I to class X. Apart from classes well equipped library, laboratory, computer room, speech therapy room equipped with all facilities. And it is our ambition to extend smart classes to all the remaining classes.
Primary and high school Boys are housed in separate dormitories.
The hostel mess caters to all the food and nutritional requirements of the students. The kitchen is well maintained to ensure high standards of hygiene. Spacious Prayer Hall “ Sai Vaibhava Kendra “ Exists between the school building and Hostel.
Admission for the Academic Year 2024 – 25.
The Candidate applying for class I should have completed 5 years 5 months old and should be less than 7 years old by May 31 of the year in which the admission is sought.
And admission from class 2 nd to 10th standard is done through TC from previous school
